Galata Racing Team
Kemal Merkit, the only Turkish moto-cross racer finishing the Paris-Dakar Rally, ran in the final step of Dubai International Desert Rally under the main sponsorship of Galata Transport that started on 9 Oct 2004.
After Galata Racing Team, has been promoted as champion for the 125cc Enduro, 450cc Enduro, over 450cc Series in the last year the team has also won the Türkiye Süpermoto & Türkiye Süperbike Championship...
Galata Off-Shore Team
Turkey Off-Shore Championship Organized by Istanbul Off-Shore Club & Ikon Tourism, our team was represented by italian pilots Luigi Medula - Roberto Fracasso with the boat named "Galata" and had a succesful season.
In the 2005 season Galata Off-Shore Tream had the best course time with 2.05.170 in the 9. lap and got the 2nd place in the last race with 40.30.25.
