The Freight Forwarding company Albini & Pitigliani S.p.A was created in 1945 by the company's historic founders Albo Albini and Sandro Pitigliani at a time when Italy was a divided country raged by war. Year after year the company strengthened and developed its service to Europe, North America and Far East. The founders'sons, Piero and Ferdinando Albini and Fabrizio Pitigliani, entered the business during those years.
This signalled the first generation change, and thanks to their impetus, Albini &Pitigliani has emerged today as industry leader in the transportation field. Albini & Pitigliani has about 50 subsidiares, affiliates and holdings in companies and all of them contribute to making our company one of the most important groups among transport, shipping and logistic companies and has group sales of over US$ 250.000.000.
In the early nineties, the company underwent another evolution with the entrance of third generations Sandro Pitigliani, Nicola, Edoardo and Alessio Albini.
The Albini &Pitigliani group has head office in Prato and branches in Florence ,Milan,Biella, Como, Reggio Emilia, Roma, Perugia, Napoli, Civitanova Marche ,Bari,Rimini,Lucca. We have own warehouses large 35.000 square mts in Prato/Florance and Milan 15.000 sq.mts daily monitored, equipped to handle each kind of merchandise from Fashion to Furniture, as well as the warehouses worldwide branches.
More than 400 persons in Italy are involved in the management of the shipments in collaboration with more than 600 persons worldwide at our overseas branches and agents. |
